In the Christmas Special, Liz is seen shopping for gifts for the “Letters to Santa” program, a charity that donates gifts to underprivileged children. She mentions that the surname of the family is Glover. Donald Glover was the name of the name of the only black writer on 30 Rock; he later left to play Troy on the show Community.
Furthermore, the episode with this scene ciontains jokes about Liz’s subliminal racism. For example, Liz assumes the Santa dolls above will rap because they are black. She picks of them up, and it starts singing.
